• Qualified institutional buyers (QIB) - Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBS) are major investors, their investment expertise, such as mutual funds, insurance companies, pension funds, and hedge funds, which are assessed for expertise and resources to evaluate the investment opportunities, which are the EFP to the norms.
• Non-institutional investors (NIIS) interior organizing investors (NIIS), on the other hand, include individual investors, individuals with high net worth (HNI), or companies that do not classify as financial institutions such as QIB and are allowed to participate in the IPO as dealers.
The NII category has two subclasses:
1. Snii -"Snii" means "small non -non-institutional
investors". This sub-region consists of investors who have provided
shares of Rs 2 Lakh and Rs 10 Lakh in the IPO.
2. BNII - "BNII" means "big non -non-institutional investors". This sub-region consists of investors who have shares worth more than Rs. 10 lakhs in a stock exchange listing.
• Personal investors in retail (RII) - Single Investors in retail are "RII" individual investors applying for shares up to 2 lakhs in stock exchange listings, aiming to encourage retail listings.
• Employees (EMP)- IPO are reserved for employees, directors, and released employees, and the issuing company and CEO in the stock exchange listing determine the allocation of shares in this category.
• Others - IPO with other shareholders or
other investors with reserved numbers.
