TPIN is a six-digit numeric code that is used to authorize trading transactions on the Upstox platform. It is a secure way of preventing unauthorized access to your account and ensuring that all transactions are carried out only by you.

To generate TPIN in Upstox, follow the steps given below:

Step 1: Log in to the Upstox account.

Step 2: Once you have logged in, click on the ‘Profile’ option at the top of the page.

Step 3: Click on ‘Generate TPIN’ from the drop-down menu.

Step 4: Under the ‘Generate TPIN’ tab, you will find an option to Get New TPIN. Click on the ‘Get New TPIN’ button.

Step 5: A new TPIN will be generated and sent to your registered mobile number and email address.

Step 6: You can also view your TPIN on the Upstox app by clicking on the ‘Profile’ option.

It is important to note that you should keep your TPIN confidential and not share it with anyone. Upstox also recommends changing your TPIN at regular intervals to ensure the security of your account.

In case you forget your TPIN, you can reset it by following the steps given below:

Step 1: Click on the ‘Forgot TPIN’ option on the login page.

Step 2: Enter your registered mobile number and email address and click on ‘Next’.

Step 3: You will receive an OTP on registered mobile number. Enter the OTP in the space provided and click on ‘Next’.

Step 4: You will be prompted to reset your TPIN. Enter a new TPIN and click on ‘Reset’.

Step 5: Your new TPIN will be generated and sent to your registered mobile number and email address.
