IPO stands for Initial Public Offering. General IPO comes under the Main Board IPO. Mainboard IPO generally have large IPO issue size. These IPO get listed on NSE and BSE.

SME IPO
SME IPO stands for Small and Medium Enterprise Initial Public Offering. Companies with small investments and turnover comes under SME and these companies issue SME IPO. NSE and BSE has separate listing platforms for SME IPOs.
